The Charities Commission

The Charities Commission - Komihana Kaupapa Atawhai - is responsible for registering and monitoring charitable organisations in New Zealand. This website will host the register of charities from 1 February 2007, when the registration of charities under the Charities Act 2005 begins.

 

 

Community Waitakere

Community Waitakere fosters community development through co-coordinating community group activities; facilitating network meetings; providing training opportunities; offering advice and support for emerging groups; leading community projects and articulating the community voice through advocacy and the preparation of appropriate submissions. Its vision is to have a strong, dynamic and sustainable Third Sector in Waitakere City.


 

New Zealand Federation of Voluntary Welfare Organisations

NZFVWO is an active network of social service organisations providing a unique opportunity to be involved with strengthening community services and increasing the influence and power of the sector.

 

 

New Zealand Council of Social Services

NZCOSS is a national umbrella organisation for local Councils of Social Services and other social service networks throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. We use our collective voice to influence decision-makers in a way that leads to policy action, social change and community empowerment.  

 

 

North Shore Community and Social Services


One of 55 Councils of Social Service affiliated to the New Zealand Council of Social Service, NSCSS' objectives include community development, information and resourcing, seminars and publications on community management, newsletters and other publications that assist community groups.

 

 

Sport & Recreation New Zealand

SPARC (Sport & Recreation New Zealand) is dedicated to getting New Zealanders moving. That means everything from supporting elite athletes to getting out into local communities and encouraging people to get active.
