The grant process
We will always acknowledge your application by letter and you will be told the outcome of your application in 4-6 months.
- We will begin reviewing your application if all the information we need is enclosed with the application form. If we need more information, we will contact you.
- Sometimes, as part of the assessment process, one of our Grants Advisors will visit you. This helps us better understand your organisation and the work it is doing for the community. It is also a chance for you to ask questions about the application process.
- There is an annual September 1 deadline for major capital projects. These are facilities where applicants seek $1 million or more.
- Groups seeking $500,000 or more are encouraged to contact us to discuss the proposal before an application is lodged. Once we better understand your proposal, we will be able to advise you whether it is appropriate to lodge an application.
