Recreation & Sport strategy
We support organisations that focus on community participation and engagement in recreation. Targeted support will be provided for those organisations that aim to increase participation by younger and older people.
You can apply for funding under the following catagories:
- Funding for local groups.
- Funding for organisations with innovative projects that align with our recreation and sport strategy and have a regional impact.
- Funding for groups needing to improve their infrastructure in order to increase participation.
Facilities over $50,000, such as buildings and halls, including building upgrades, are considered under our Capital Funding and Community Facilities or Major Capital Projects budget.
