The Trust has put together a Project Planning Template for Conservation and Restoration Activities. Completing the template will help your group identify issues such as the project's ecological significance, any risks and existing research, as well as detailing the project budget.

DOC guidelines

DoC has put together guidelines for the development and monitoring of ecological restoration programmes. the guidelines include advice on maximising the biological effectiveness, and therefore the cost effectiveness, of terrestrial restoration programmes.

MfE's has published a range of publications on the climate change topic, including issues such as New Zealand's 2020 emissions target and how to manage an organisation's carbon emissions.

A series of climate change case studies have been published on the MfE website. Recent examples include Climate Change and the State Highway Network, Coast Care Bay of Plenty Dune Restoration and Impact of Sea Level rise on the Avon River.

MfE's Adaptation in the Community web pages include discussion around adaptation options for New Zealand as we face the possibility of a sea level rise, flooding and high temperatures.

WWF New Zealand

WWF logoWWF New Zealand has put together a useful toolkit that will help groups plan their project. The Habitat Protection Fund Project Monitoring Toolkit includes practical guidelines to help groups collect information that may be required in reports to funders.
