With quick-response grants the usual sector closing dates apply, but you will get a grant decision within eight weeks.
We will consider a grant of up to a maximum of $10,000 for requests that aim to overcome barriers to participation, with a focus on younger and/or older members of the community.

If your recreation or sports organisation is applying for a quick-response grant and it has total revenue of less than $100,000 a year, the financial reporting requirements are simpler. Instead of audited accounts, we only need to see financial statements that have been prepared by a chartered accountant and signed off by your board.
If your group’s revenue is $100,000 or more, your financial statements will need to be audited by a chartered accountant holding a public practice certificate. Your accounts will also have to be audited if this requirement is part of your organisation’s constitution, trust deed or rules.

If your organisation is eligible for reduced financial reporting requirements, you can still use the standard application form. When you get to Question 29, simply attach a signed financial statement instead of audited accounts.
