Networking expo for creative sector

A networking expo especially for the creative sector is expected to draw more than 350 people to Auckland University’s Business School in July.

22/6/11
Titled Survive & Thrive, Fuelling the Business of Creativity, the July 14 event will help creative practitioners, managers and entrepreneurs connect and gain exposure to new ideas, says Candy Elsmore, Arts Regional Trust Project Director.

“It will feature inspiring speakers, practical topic-focussed workshops, an expo of creative sector organisations, as well as the popular ‘speed networking’ event,” says Candy. “It’s a must for those wanting to survive and thrive in today’s market.”

An initiative of the Arts Regional Trust, in partnership with The Big Idea, the event is hosted by the University of Auckland’s School of Business and supported by an ASB Community Trust grant.
