A new park on Waitemata Harbour is a great example of how business, community groups, councils and Government departments can work together for the community's benefit, says Conservation Minister Steve Chadwick.

ASB Community Trust Deputy Chair spoke at the handover ceremony, commenting on the vision of past ASB Community Trust Trust Chair Judith Bassett and her board, who helped fund the land purchase.

Mr Lythe also reinforced the significance of Chelsea Park as an important part of the region's "urban lungs".
